  • There is something inherently difficult in raising a child.
    It
is just not a by the book deal.
One does not have a specific
formula that makes all kids turn out great.
Even if you can get a child through the early years, that stage from puberty to adultery is the pits for both of you.

  • But watching Little Miss Sunshine will cheer you up every time

  • Did you like Little Miss Sunshine? I am constantly surprised at what movies get oscars and which ones don't. Of course, being totally divorced from mainstream culture probably doesn't help. Hmm...

Good luck embarrassing your children! And have fun with your plays this summer - I would love to do drama like that but have terribly luck getting cast (or I'm just clueless about how bad my acting is... and I think I'd rather remain there than in the harsh world of reality (-: ).

  • Hey, how are you?

  • Uh, oh.

I guess my off brand of humor was a little too subtle today.

    Sorry guys.

  • ryc: That is EXACTLY what that kitten was doing. I knew there was something diabolical in his eye. They distract you with all that fuzziness and then BAM.
    You leave great comments.
    Am off to find gumdrops.
    x.g.

  • hehe...I got it the other day...I just couldn't think of a good comment

  • It wasn't that it was subtle, just that we weren't sure whether you were being witty, regretful, freudian-slipping or just plain mistyping. If you'd ended with a rimshot you'd have got applause.

  • RYC:  I actually *cough cough* pirated *cough cough* the original broadway cast recording and I've been practicing my songs while walking to and from rehearsal.  Which requires me walking through downtown.  I've gotten a few odd looks.  It kind of makes me happy.

  • Although I had to reread your comment several times to understand and questioned the existence of a store actually called "Piggly Wiggly," I did thoroughly enjoy the absurdity of it.
