Here is a picture of the visitor we had in our back yard this morning. He caused quite a commotion!
While I'd like to say he is a handsome
devil, I have to admit that I didn't get close enough to find out if it
was actually a 'he'

I miss those Maine black bears...and the puffins and Kahtahdin and the Old Port (when it was truly bohemian circa 1976) and the tourmaline mystical magic that emanates form the granite cliffs of Casco Bay and all the mermaid memories I have of the place!!!
