  • Golly!  See what a little peep can do?  I now have a bit of
news... I got a job!  It is exactly what I wanted... close by,
fair pay, part-time hours, excellent office.  Yey me.

Yesterday I took the 1st/2nd grade class on a trip to India.
Looking back at last year's pictures I can't believe how much change
there has been in a year.  Our girl is certainly doing well.
Every day I go into the school, someone comes up to me and says how
nice it is that she is there.  Even the students ask me if she
    ever frowns.

Here are some perfect puppy pictures  to peruse.  They are so small it always makes me laugh.  That and all the tiny growling they do.

Hey, Happy All-Hallows Eve to ya all!

  • Peep

This is so you can't say you haven't heard a peep out of me for a while.

  • Since Kat wrapped
that up so nicely, I get to move on.  It was a lame idea
anyway.  On my part that is, my commenters all did beautifully.

I still can't post pictures yet.  But soon, soon.  Any ideas for a wickedgood background?

Better I should stop the procrastination and get on with the blasted
housework.  Aww Gee, Mom, do I have ta?  I mean the whole day
is basically crap anyway... with the orthodontist appointment this
afternoon and all.  Yesterday was SO much nicer.

    Yup.  I have ta.

    sigh

  • Why is it so annoying to have the toilet paper hang incorrectly?

  • The fair was great fun.  Sleeping in a tent with 20 or so was the
biggest kick; cold and uncomfortable, but a kick.  Once again I
resisted the urge to competitively fling manure (I get to shovel enough
shit without adding the extra excitement of competition) but I did buy
an angora rabbit while I was there (yet more manure to deal with now,
eh?!)  And I was, as predicted, very tired.  I still haven't
gotten back into the swing of getting up at 5:30 to exercise.  I
think I'm going to have to start taking mega-vitamins... ah, yes, the
Americans have the most expensive pee in the world... myself
    occasionally included.

So, I wanted to update the picture of the puppies.  They are so
very sweet at the moment.  They are 3 1/2 weeks now and wobbly so
when they 'wrestle' each other they fall down alot, but we just got a
new compuker, and I haven't gotten to the part of getting the software
for pictures on it yet.  It's a mixed blessing.  Loads of fun
to play with a new toy, but still unable to use functions that I am
used to, such as, a printer.  Bitch, bitch, bitch.

I'm off to play with puppies some more.  They are so stinkin' cute!

  • My profile picture is from when I worked the Common Ground Fair
last year.  I leave today to attend this year.  My spinning
group demonstrates for the public here every year.  This fair, put
on by MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmers
and Gardeners Association) is the largest of its kind (possibly the
only one of its kind) is put on by one of the largest organic
organizations in this country.  It has no midway or rides - but
there is a manure toss!  It promotes good stewardship of the earth
and celebrates rural living.  Everything sold at the fair must be
made or grown in Maine, and it must be organic.  It may not sound
like it, but this is one cool mofo fair, let me tell you!

When I get back on Sunday night, I will be exhausted - I am every
year.  So exhausted that I may sleep all the way thru my birthday
on Wednesday.  It sounds like the best way to celebrate turning 41
    that I can think of.

    AS FOR JOB HUNTING...
You haven't been quiet enough and I haven't caught one yet.  Not even a nibble.  Damn - time to change my aftershave!

  • I am job hunting... so be very quiet so I can sneak up on something and
catch it!  I'm in the traditional job hunting camouflage so that's why you haven't seen me much.

With the childrens all in school, I want a part time gig, to get me out in public
    regularly.

Otherwise I might lose what little grip on reality I
have.  I mean, do you realize I have never seen a makeover reality
    show!  The horrors!

  • Gimme a  'G'  - G
    Gimme a 'W' - W
    Gimme a  'O' - O
    Gimme a 'Q' - Q
    What does it spell?!

Nothing of course, I'm not smart enough to come up with an actual word here, DOH!

Here is a picture of the visitor we had in our back yard this morning.  He caused quite a commotion!

While I'd like to say he is a handsome
devil, I have to admit that I didn't get close enough to find out if it
    was actually a 'he'
